New Work: Adventure Time PR Artwork

This image was created to promote the Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake episode amongst the press. Cartoon Network provided the character images and Jayro digitally inked and converted the characters into vector format. Jayro continues to work with Cartoon Network to provide vector character art for style guides, promotional materials, apparel and other consumer products.

#Twifridoodle Session September 2nd

This was the first ever vector doodle requested by Charlotte designer David Sizemore. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to do something a little more substantial for this even though it was a quicker doodle!

New Work: Tooncast Marketing Mailer

The fine folks at Cartoon Network Latin America were interested in putting together a sales/marketing mailer for their version of the U.S. Boomerang television network, Tooncast. As with Boomerang, Tooncast offers 24 hours of classic cartoon programming. To make a fun, interactive piece and showcase the multitude of shows on the network, Jayro chose a Volvelle approach (that grommeted spinny wheel thing) with tri-fold panels and it includes a DVD containing show clips. When you spin said wheel, you can see classic matchups from Scooby and the Carnival Ghost to He-Man and Skeletor. The look and feel of the piece matches Tooncast’s current on-air graphics. Jayro Design concepted and designed all aspects of the piece, including the animated DVD Menu which was produced by Turner Studios. Three versions were ultimately produced – English, Spanish and Portuguese. Thanks again to Ana and the CNLA team!

New Work: Robots and Cupcakes Logo, Character and Website Design

I had the pleasure of working with Sharon, Dave and Eric again at Robots and Cupcakes, we had initially worked closely together on the Christmas Belles iPad app. They were looking to refresh their logo, Robot character and website, and they contacted Jayro to help them out prior to a big trade show. After a myriad of Robots and a few cupcakes, we came to a fun, whimsical logo, character and website that positions them well within their target market. They primarily serve entertainment, publishing and educational resources for kids. We are proud of the results, and were happy to work with Robots and Cupcakes and their developer again.

You can see examples of the work below, and you can visit their website to see it in more detail: www.robotsandcupcakes.com
