Like the famous holiday triumvirate formed by Hermey, Rudolph and Yukon Cornelius, Jayro partnered up with John Hartwell of Hartwell Studio Works, and Sean Forman of Baseball-Reference.com to produce this fun sports-themed holiday promotion.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Shortstop serves as a special followup installment to Hartwell Studio Works’ popular seasonal Holiday League – sports teams and mascots based on major holidays. The plan was hatched in a secret frosty lair one morning by our own Yukon Cornelius (John Hartwell) in order to bring some warm holiday cheer to all the girls and boys, and Jayro was more than thrilled to be a part of the merriment.

The character illustration and front layout was created by Jayro.  John Hartwell did a phenomenal job with the design of the card and subsequent integration with the Holiday League  and Sean Forman added a delightful mix of info and baseball-themed cheer to the stats on the back and for the special Rudolph page on Baseball-Reference.com.
